Yannick Aigoin with his RB-powered XRAY XB8TQ set the TQ at the current European Championship Warm-up in Spain among very tough competition of all the best European drivers. Yannick was able to easily win the qualifications and also the semi-final where he dominated the field. Yannick was super happy with the car which was getting better and better. Jon Hazlewood and Michel Farina were doing very well too despite not making it to the final. At the end, the big surprise was local XRAY driver Alex Brujas who made it from the lower finals up to the main final showcasing the XB8TQ performance and his driving skills by posting the third best time. Unfortunately Alex had radio troubles in the final and despite very high anticipations he finished in 9th position. Bad luck was not only with Alex but also with Yannick who faced radio troubles as well, and despite unbeatable performance he had to retire thus finishing 11th at the end.

The brand new XB8TQ showed great potential and highest performance at the race, when among the highest competition and the best drivers and all factory teams the XRAY car was able to easily dominate and TQ the qualifications as well as win the semi-finals, giving a lot of confidence for the upcoming Euros and Worlds.
